Kenneth P. Cohen was elected to the Board of Directors of the Teagle Foundation in 2000. Mr. Cohen serves as chair of the board of the National Math and Science Initiative, Inc. He retired as Vice President for Public and Government Affairs of the ExxonMobil Corporation, where he had worldwide responsibility for its government relations, communications, media relations, global community relations and corporate brand activities. He has also served on the executive committee of the United States Council for International Business and the Board of Trustees for the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Cohen began his legal career as an Assistant Professor of Law at Indiana University School of Law before transitioning to the ExxonMobil Corporation’s legal department in 1977. He earned his LL.M. from Yale Law School, where he was a Sterling Fellow, and his J.D. from Baylor Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review. Mr. Cohen did his undergraduate work at Northwestern University.
