Chris Graebner is Assistant to the President of the Foundation and runs the Hillsborough, NC office. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Virginia and ran research labs in neuroscience and cardiology for fourteen years. Chris is a botanical artist working in watercolor, colored pencil, and ink. She holds a certificate in botanical illustration from the North Carolina Botanical Gardens of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, where she serves on the executive council of the Carolinas Chapter.
