Annie W. Bezbatchenko is Senior Program Officer at The Teagle Foundation, supporting both institutional and civic initiatives. She has been involved with the Foundation since 2011, and joined in this capacity in 2021. Previously, she consulted with Storbeck Search and the Ford Foundation. Annie has taught at New York University, Baruch College, and Sheridan College in Ontario. Her work has been published in Change Magazine, Inside Higher Ed, and The Hechinger Report. Annie currently serves on the Executive Board of Advisors at the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond, and she previously served a two-year term on the Board of Directors at Ohio Humanities. She holds a Ph.D. from New York University and M.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, both in higher education, and a B.A. in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond.
