Reaching the ten-year mark for the College-Community Connections (CCC) initiative invited reflection on the ways in which Teagle could strengthen its efforts in promoting access to and success in liberal arts education for students who have historically been excluded from its benefits. Drawing on the accumulated wisdom, experience, and assessment data gathered to date by grantees, program staff invited proposals for a final year of funding as it prepared to review and revise the initiative.

Proposals of up to $90,000 for one year were invited to continue programmatic activities, develop and implement plans for sustainability, and disseminate program models with an eye towards encouraging others to undertake similar efforts.

In rare exceptions where partners decided to discontinue their collaboration, the CBO partner was invited to apply as a single entity for reduced funding to continue their independent college access and success programming, and develop and implement a plan for sustainability.
