Grant Summary
$25,000 over 18 months to Beginning with Children Foundation to support its Spotlight on ME: Film and Identity Program for ninth grade students. Spotlight encourages students to explore “identity,” “impact,” and “legacy” by utilizing memoirs, spoken word, mixed media collage, photography, and film. It serves as a part of Beginning with Children’s efforts to help further prepare alumni of its K-8 charter school network to prepare for the transition to high school, college, and beyond.
