Grant Summary

$300,000 over 36 months to implement a Cornerstone program model introducing two new three-credit gateway sequences (Introduction to the Humanities; Ethics and the Human Experience) that incorporate shared readings. The gateway courses will serve as entry points into a new Applied Humanities Certificate, which will require additional coursework organized into thematic clusters that connect the humanities to STEM fields and professional pathways and encourage students to apply humanistic perspectives to areas such as healthcare, technology, and ethics.
