Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to support the faculty and staff throughout the year as they create an intentional course cluster on democracy and civic life grounded in the fraught history of civic life in Wilmington and the 1898 Massacre. The team will create these courses in close partnership with community members. The goal will be a project that both educates students and gives back to the civic life of Wilmington.
