Grant Summary
$110,000 over 24 months to refine and fully establish a redesigned First Year Seminar (FYS), with an eye to ensuring that all incoming first-year students registered for FYS benefit from the community building that comes from participating in a common intellectual experience with their peers, and to design and launch six Core Pathways through the university’s general education curriculum organized under the rubrics of Religion and Society; Science, Technology, and Ethics; Business and Civic Ethics; Education and Human Development; Health, Healing, and Humanity; and Classical Learning.
