Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to develop a first-year sequence involving a required composition course revised to incorporate transformative texts and a second general education humanities course emphasizing transformative texts. The grant will also support the development of thematic, two-to-three course clusters in the humanities that build on an anchor focus of community engagement and citizenship while also connecting the humanities to various vocational areas. These clusters will further serve as pathways to complete the GE Humanities requirement at UND or earn a minor.
