Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to develop a new Transformative Critical Analysis Certificate available to students majoring in any field at the institution. A new first-year course, Enduring Questions, will serve as the gateway course to the general education certificate program. The Enduring Questions course will be required for students pursuing the Social Science associate degree and will serve as an elective that meets the Liberal Arts general education distribution requirement at Rose State. The rest of the curriculum for the certificate will involve designated sections of existing general education courses in English, American History, American Government, Psychology, and Sociology.
