Grant Summary
$25,000 over 12 months to lay the groundwork for identifying and infusing transformative texts, with a particular emphasis on amplifying Black voices and experiences, in Millsaps’ required first-year seminar (such that readings across all sections draw from a common list of transformative texts) and to develop two new interdisciplinary humanities minors that align with the general education pathways aimed at Business and STEM majors.
