Grant Summary
$30,000 over nine months to Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC) for a planning proposal to identify and develop approaches to the teaching of religion in general education. Many colleges are instituting more robust diversity requirements in their general education programs, but very few address the issue of religious diversity. This planning grant will enable IFYC to hold a convening of leaders from 10 institutions in order to develop recommendations for implementing civic education with a focus on religious pluralism.
