Elizabeth Boylan
Elizabeth Boylan retired from the Board of Directors after over 10 years of outstanding service (2014-2025) and four years as chair (2021-2025). Dr. Boylan directed the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation’s programs on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Higher Education from 2011 to 2020, focusing on the education and professional advancement of underrepresented groups and the improvement of student learning and performance. Dr. Boylan previously served as provost and dean of the faculty at Barnard College from 1995 to 2011, leading efforts promoting faculty career enhancement, curriculum reform, international education, and capital projects. Prior to Barnard, Dr. Boylan was associate provost for academic planning and programs at Queens College/CUNY and a tenured member of the biology faculty at Queens College and the CUNY Graduate Center. Major funders of her research included the National Cancer Institute and the American Federation for Aging Research. She has served on the Commission for Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the Leadership Network for International Education of the American Council on Education, and the advisory board of Project Kaleidoscope. Honors include election as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Frederick A. P. Barnard Award for service to Barnard College, and the Frank Abbott Award from the SREB Institute of Teaching and Mentoring. A specialist in developmental biology and hormonal carcinogenesis, she earned a PhD in zoology/embryology from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Wellesley College.

Grant Porter
Grant Porter retired from the Board of Directors after over 15 years of dedicated service (2009-2025). Mr. Porter is vice chairman of banking at Barclays Capital, and previously led Global Natural Resources Investment banking at Lehman Brothers. He has also held leadership positions at Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Porter serves on the board of trustees of The Taft School and the advisory board of New Providence Asset Management, and is a member of the business committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He received his BA from Brown University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development.

Jan Graham 
Jan Graham is a seasoned human resources and operations executive with over 15 years of leadership experience across the retail, financial services, and startup sectors. She brings deep expertise in human resources strategy, compliance management, organizational design, and talent assessment. Jan currently serves as vice president of operations at ARTDAI, a data-driven company revolutionizing the art market by delivering actionable insights and streamlined workflows to empower industry professionals and amplify their impact. Before joining ARTDAI, Jan served as director of human resources at Tappanwood Finance Labs and JA Forlines Global, and held senior HR roles at Victoria’s Secret, where she supported the design, e-commerce, and merchant divisions. Her earlier experience includes human resources positions at New York & Company. Jan holds a Bachelor of Arts in child development and classics from Tufts University.
