In this Preface to a Special Issue of the Humanistic Management Journal, which was funded by a Liberal Arts and the Professions grant from the Teagle Foundation, co-editors Anne M. Greenhalgh, Douglas E. Allen, and Jeffrey Nesteruk present "a new narrative" of integrating liberal learning into business education. The articles in this special issue all contribute "creative, critical, and practical ways to develop and educate future humanistic managers and leaders." To do so, they move beyond dichomtomies in theory, method, and content and "find more common ground" between the liberal arts and business education.
